The Senator representing Akwa Ibom South at the National Assembly, Senator Ekong Sampson, earlier today, Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, joined dignitaries and well wishers at the funeral service of the late Deaconess Grace Sunday Eyiboh.
The burial event was held at Community Secondary School, Akpautong Village, and conducted by Qua Iboe Church, Akpautong, Esit Eket LGA, Akwa Ibom State.
The departed was the mother to Rt Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, former Reps Member, and currently, Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio. Also present at the ceremony were wife of the Senate President, Mrs Unoma Akpabio, former Minister of Budget and National Planning, Senator Udoma Udo Udoma, DG of the Umo Eno Campaign Council, Chief Assam Assam, Chief of Staff to the Senate President, Barr. Sylvester Okonkwo, among other notable guests.
