AKWA IBOM SOCIAL MEDIA FORUM ENDORSES, TINUBU, AKPABIO, ENO FOR SECOND TERM IN OFFICE.

The Forum of Social Media Administrators and Influencers in Akwa Ibom State has endorsed Nigeria President Tinubu, Senate President Akpabio and Akwa Ibom State Governor Pastor Umo Eno for a second term in office.
Speaking at a press briefing, the forum through it’s Chairman Comrade Bassey Samuel, who is the Publisher of Ibom Plaza News, praised the governor’s leadership, citing his commitment to peace, unity, and development in the State.
The forum highlighted several achievements of the governor’s administration, including:
– Agricultural Development:
The construction of the Ibom Model Farm in Nsit Ubium and the establishment of the ARISE Home Farmers Scheme, which provides beneficiaries with farm inputs, processing equipment, and capacity development.
– Rural Development:
The delivery of 206 fully built ARISE Compassionate Homes to indigent citizens, with a target to build 400 such homes across the state.
– Infrastructure Development:
The construction of over 163 roads covering more than 700 kilometers, and the development of the Ibom Deep Seaport and Industrial City project.
– Security:
The establishment of the Ministry of Internal Security and the procurement of gunboats, patrol vehicles, and other support for security agencies.
The forum also praised the governor’s approach to governance, which has created a peaceful and inclusive environment in the state.
They noted that the governor’s leadership has given the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, the peace of mind to focus on drawing development and appointments to Akwa Ibom State.
The forum endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term and Senate President Akpabio for re-election, citing their commitment to the development of the country and the state.
Also Speaking during the parley, the Vice Chairman of the Forum, Comrade Daniel Edon , who is the Publisher of The Bubbles Newspaper and Umoenotimes Newspaper, said since the creation of Akwa Ibom State, President Ahmed Tinubu is the only President who is very intentional about the development of Akwa Ibom State. He challenged anybody to mention one thing past Presidents have done for Akwa Ibom State. Edon observed that with the collaboration of Mr President and the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, we have the Coastal Highway extended to Akwa Ibom State and an Akwa Ibom daughter appointed as the pioneer Managing Director of South South Development Commission with Headquarters in Akwa Ibom State. He also said that the State Governor is working in synergy with President Tinubu in making the dream of Ibom Deep Seaport a reality.
Through the removal of Fuel Subsidy by Mr. President, the monies accrued from the savings from subsidy removal have been plunged into State allocations. That has seen State allocations soared by over 300%, and with these funds, the State Governor is performing creditably and beyond his campaign promises, Edon submitted.
The PRO of the Forum, Comrade Victor Efiong Onomo , also said that the Forum is resolutely behind the Governor’s vision for a peaceful, united, educated, and prosperous State. “We believe that Governor Umo Eno is the best leader to take Akwa Ibom State to the next level of development and prosperity. Our forum is pro democracy and pro development”, Onomo said.
The forum called on all lovers of democracy and good governance to support the second-term aspirations of Governor Umo Eno, Senate President Akpabio, and President Tinubu.
